Augusta Durham
  Augusta Durham, 92, of Muncie, a former Tipton County resident, died Tuesday in the Chateau Convalescent Center after an extended illness.
  She was born in Mt. Vernon, OH, the daughter of Daniel W. and Alice (Ayres) Norrick. She is the widow of James W. Durham, who was born in Tipton County and preceded her in death in 1969.
  Mrs. Durham lived in Tipton County several years before moving to New Castle. During W.W. II she lived in Detroit, Mich. and in 1946 moved to Muncie where she was employed by McNaughton's Department Store and Bake-rite bakery.
  She was a member of the Madison Street United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle, the Muncie Womens Club and the Mayflower Club.
  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Martha Collins, of Sun City, AZ and Mrs. Rachael Kirby of Burlington, VT. One son, James N. Durham of Muncie also survives along with 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
  Services will be conducted at the Meeks Mortuary in Muncie at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. John Constant officiating.
  Entombment will follow at the Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
  Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Weeks Mortuary, or one hour prior to services.
